Our Eternal Home (Ecclesiastes 12:5)
Glory be to God!!
Our Eternal Home
...... Man goeth to his long home, and the mourners go about the streets. Ecclesiastes 12:5
In the life of man reminding of the experiences during the last days of the oldage it is said man shall go to his long home after his death. In order to make it clear in further the dust shall return to the earth as it was and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it (Ecclesiastes 12:7). If so it is not our earthly body we or our spirit have to return back to God or to his long home. Jesus says about a group who go into the everlasting fire which is prepared for the devil and his angels (Matthew 25:41). That place is not called as a home but eternal fire. But Jesus says there is a house for our heavenly Father and He is preparing for us a mansion in that house. As well we also know after He prepare a place for us, He will come again and receive us unto Himself so that we will be with Him in the place where He is (John 14:1-3). Therefore our eternal home is the house of our heavenly Father.
When God created man He made like Him otherwise He created Adam in His own image and likeness (Genesis 1:26). We read the first man Adam begat a son in his own likeness and after his image (Genesis 5:3). It is like Seth to Adam, Adam to God. Therefore Adam is said as the son of God (Luke 3:38). Since man committed sin man become servant of sin thereby he was driven out of his home (Genesis 3:23) and become slaves unto devil (John 8:34-35). Devil imprisoned his prisoners without opening the house (Isaiah 14:17). Such works of the devil to be destroyed the Son of God was manifested (1John 3:8). Because of the blood of the covenant of Jesus which is shed for us on the Calvary God sent forth the prisoners of Jesus to their home out of the devils pit wherein is no water (Zechariah 9:11). It is only the sons will abide in the house says Jesus (John 8:35). Therefore they who are the servants of sin, devil will return back to their home by receiving Jesus and to believe on His name, Jesus gave power to become the sons of God (John 1:12). They are redeemed by the blood of the covenant of Jesus shall return and come to the presence of God, Zion with everlasting joy (Isaiah 35:10).
Many mansions are there says Jesus about His Father's house. But to them that are of Jesus, He go to prepare a special place for them after He will prepare He will come again to receive them unto Himself so that they shall sit in the place where He sit He says (John 14:2-3). When we pay attention to the book of Revelation in twenty first chapter it is said about the experiences in eternity that is not only new earth and new heaven but we can see a holy city new Jerusalem is revealed. It is said this new Jerusalem, the holy city is the bride which is the Lamb's wife (Revelation 21:1-2,9). We could read in the book of Revelation in nineteenth chapter the marriage of the Lamb has come and the wife is made herself ready and to her granted the fine linen is the righteousness of the saints (Revelation 19:7,8). Jesus the Lamb of God (John1:29) when appear as the bridegroom we who are said to be seated with Him will be the wife the bride (John 14:2-3). Therefore we are the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. Out of heaven a great voice says the holy city is the tabernacle of God with men and God will dwell with them (Revelation 21:3). Therefore the eternal home which our God is preparing for us is the holy city, new Jerusalem. When we think in the other way in eternity since God is dwelling in this holy city, new Jerusalem we too are going to be with Jesus in this holy city which is the Father's house.
In order to go to this city of habitation God is leading us in the right way (Psalm 107:7). But the fools not knowing the way to go to the city wearieth in their labour (Ecclesiastes 10:15). Because fools says in their heart that there is no God therefore God cannot lead him (Psalm 53:1). But to the wise one that seek God (Psalm 53:2) their way of life is always above. He depart from hell beneath (Proverbs 15:24). In the spiritual life these wise ones will hear the words of Jesus and doeth it says Jesus (Matthew 7:24). To such ones God will guide them with His eye to give His counsel and will instruct them and teach them in the way they should go (Psalm 32:8). In other way God will lead them with His good Spirit into the land of uprightness (Psalm 143:10), with the Spirit of truth He will guide them unto all truth (John 16:13). It is by the Holy Spirit, He shall teach unto them all things and bring them to remembrance of all what Jesus said unto them (John 14:26). Thereby they will become the wise ones who hear and doeth the words of God (Matthew 7:24) then they shall go to the city of habitation.
After having received all the experiences until our oldage man shall go to his long home (Ecclesiastes 12:3-7). But the much wicked and the fools die before the time says the word of God (Ecclesiastes 7:17). Therefore throughout the life time which our God gave us we must hear the words of Jesus and keep it in an honest and good heart so that we must bring forth hundred-fold fruit with patience in our life (Luke 8:8,15). To such ones lives like Job as a shock of corn cometh in, in his season shall they come to the grave in a full age (Job 5:26).This season is the time of the appearance of Jesus (1Timothy 6:14,15) which knoweth no man even the Son other than God (Matthew 24:36). The word of God is thoroughly furnished unto all good works as it is profitable for us to become perfect (2 Timothy 3:17) for that we must receive the teachings and warnings to obey from the heart to be perfect in Christ (Colossians 1:28). Our God who comes to gather such ones will gather us in a full age of our life in God's time. Thereby we will be able to dwell with the Lord in the Father's house (1Thessalonians 4:17). Therefore God who satisfy us with long life will make us to see the eternal salvation and it will happen for us to receive it by giving us long life being made perfect through the divine experiences (Psalm 91:16). Our Lord God give all of us long life and help us to obtain these valuable experiences.
