Heavenly Experience of the Heavenly Ones (John 17:16)
Glory be to God
Heavenly Experience of the Heavenly Ones
" They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world " John 17:16.
Our Lord Jesus Christ is not of the world even we are not of the world. A person who accept and confess Jesus as his saviour he is partaker of the heavenly calling (Hebrews 3:1). Therefore Jesus choose that person out of the world so that he might not be of the world (John 15:19). Since no flesh should glory God hath chosen from the world those which are not in the world to bring them as the chiefest heavenly ones (1Corinthians 1:26-28). Therefore if we live by making sure our calling and election then we can have an entrance abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Jesus Christ, the heaven (2 Peter 1:10,11). Since the kingdom of our Jesus Christ is not of this world but heavenly (John 18:36). Not only that the first man Adam is of the earth whereas the second man is the Christ from heaven. Therefore we as in the earth should not be of the world as the heavenly Jesus we should be heavenly (1 Corinthians 15:47-48). For our conversation is in heaven (Philippians 3:20). Therefore at any cost not being conformed to this world we should live as the heavenly ones (Romans 12:2). As such we could see from those who live as the heavenly certain spiritual experiences from the word of God.
Firstly when we think, raised up together with Christ and made them to sit together in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:7). It is because since they are chosen from out of the world henceforth they are no more of the world. Therefore we have to seek the things which are above where they were seated, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Not the things on the earth but think of the things that are above and live (Colossians 3:1-2). Such ones have tasted the powers and the experiences of the world to come (Hebrews 6:5). For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink but righteousness, and peace and joy in the Holy Ghost therefore serve Christ in these things which is acceptable to God (Romans 14:17-18). Not only that they encourage themselves like Abraham together as a family confessing they are strangers and pilgrims on this earth (Hebrews 11:13). Like themselves considering the houses of the world as a tabernacle desiring a better country than this world, that is an heavenly and looked for a city which hath foundations whose builder and maker is God (Hebrews 11:9-10,16). Therefore let us tarry for some better thing which is predestinated that is the heavenly and live as heavenly ones (Hebrews 11:40).
Secondly the heavenly ones call not their God as God but Father. Because when Jesus came to this world desired to reveal God the Father to man (Matthew 11:27) all those who hearkened to His doctrines to them He introduced God as Father (Matthew 6:9-26). He separated they that are His from the gentiles and said to them their heavenly Father (Matthew 6:32). Not only that Jesus called God as Father in the days of His living in this earth. Jesus only once at the time of His death on the cross as the atonement for sin called the Father as God (Matthew 27:45-50). Because Jesus was made to be sin by God for us (2Corinthians 5:21) bare our sins on the cross (1Peter 2:24) when He carried the wages of sin the death and die as a sinner, unable to call God as Father therefore He called as God. Therefore they who live as a gentile, worldly and sinner will call God as God. In truth a heavenly child of God will always call God as Father. Especially in prayers as Jesus taught we should call as our heavenly Father when we pray (Matthew 6:9, Luke 11:2). We too should live as heavenly so that we might also call boldly as heavenly Father.
Thirdly the heavenly ones should live by considering them as children of God. Because our Jesus wants us to be perfect even as our heavenly Father is perfect (Matthew 5:48). Therefore we should not love the world and the things in it so that our love of the heavenly Father will be lost (1John 2:15-17). Instead let us be the partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust (2 Peter 1:4). As Jesus says as an example love not those who love us but love your enemies and pray for those who persecute us so that they will be the sons of the heavenly Father (Matthew 5:44-45). As Jesus says in the gospel according to Luke do good to them which hate us, bless them that curse us, forbid not thy coat also to him that taketh away thy cloke lend hoping for nothing again, in short whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them. As the heavenly Father is kind and merciful the heavenly ones should also be (Luke 6:27-36). Therefore live not according to the man's worldly lust with the evil characters like the sinners and gentiles (1Peter 4:2-3), therefore let us live as those who keep themselves unspotted from the world being perfect and heavenly (James 1:27).
Fourthly they are blessed with all the spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ (Ephesians 1:3). The heavenly blessings of the heavenly Father is received through the eldest son Jesus Christ. To receive the blessing of the father Isaac, the younger son Jacob put the garment of the eldest son Esau, by the smell of the garment he was blessed (Genesis 27:15-27). Even so we to be joined with Christ at baptism we put on Christ (Galatians 3:27). Thereby we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ so God bless us (2 Corinthians 2:15). That blessing is the heavenly blessing with all spiritual blessings (Ephesians 1:3). Not material neither worldly blessing. The worldy people receive more worldly blessings than the children of God. Therefore the blessing for the heavenly ones is not the material blessing it is surely the heavenly spiritual blessings. Since they seek the kingdom of God, God give them material goodness not only that God pleases to give them even the kingdom of God (Luke 12:31-32). Therefore they should be like Jacob who gave importance not to the material blessings instead let us strive with God in prayer for spiritual blessings (Genesis 32:26). Let us receive all the spiritual blessings through prayer and live as the heavenly ones.
Fifthly heavenly ones should not be carnal like the worldly people but they should be like the spiritual ones who experiences all the heavenly spiritual blessings (1Corinthians 3:1-3). The natural worldly people thinks the doctrine of the Spirit of God is foolish thereby they could not receive it, since it should be discerned spiritually it is not possible for them to understand. But in order to know what God gave us, he that received the Spirit from God not by the words which man's wisdom teacheth but by the words which the Holy Ghost teacheth the spiritual things are explained. Therefore the spiritual things are revealed to the spiritual ones they discern everything. Thereby spiritual ones are taught by the Spirit of God and grow by understanding spiritual things (1Corinthians 2:13-14). As the children of Israelites were fed with manna in their wilderness journey God nourished them with the corn of heaven that is by the spiritual doctrines ( Psalm 78:24). These spiritual doctrines are heavenly therefore let us live as the heavenly ones.
Sixthly heavenly ones will never lay treasures for them upon earth. On the other hand they lay up treasures in heaven (Matthew 6:19-20). For that the way which Jesus shows is selling whatsoever thou hast and give to the poor. Only then they'll have treasure in heaven (Mark 10:21, Luke 12:33). Even Jesus helped by giving something to the poor through His disciples (John 13:29). Therefore the heavenly ones will encourage themselves to help the poor by remembering the poor among them (Galatians 2:10). It will changed as the treasure in heaven. Not only that knowing ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance they should take joyfully the spoiling of their goods in earth (Hebrews 10:34). In further let us encourage ourselves and work to become rich toward God not becoming fool by laying up treasures for themselves in this earth and all of a sudden leave this earth without enjoying it (Luke 12:20-21). Therefore at His coming let us receive the recompense and reward from Him (Isaiah 40:10) thereby let us encourage ourselves in deeds and live as a heavenly ones.
Seventhly heavenly ones having their conversation in heaven from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ (Philippians 3:20). Jesus who ascended into heaven so shall He come in like manner as He gone into heaven which is our hope and confidence (Acts 1:11). Having a desire to be with Christ in heaven by departing from this world is far better (Philippians 1:23). Therefore the spiritual one waiting ardently for that fine day so that Christ will come again and gather them unto Him. Unto them that look for Him shall He appear the second time unto salvation (Hebrews 9:28). When He shall appear, we shall be like Him (1John 3:2). Or he that is heavenly live like that are heavenly shall bear the image of the heavenly (1Corinthians 15:28-49). Having celestial bodies, being glorified dwelling with God in heaven forever and ever (1Corinthians 15:40). Therefore since we are not worldly ones like Jesus let our God help us to live as the heavenly ones with these experiences.
