Those who became a pleasant fruit (James 5: 7-8)

Those who became a pleasant fruit (James 5: 7-8)
: :

Glory be to God

Those became a pleasant fruit.

"Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. Be ye also patient, stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh." - James 5: 7-8

The husbandman waiteth patiently not to receive any kind of fruit of the earth but to receive the precious fruit.  In 1Corinthians 3:6-9 we read we are God's husbandry, the servants of God are those who planteth and watereth it. Jesus says, Our God is the husbandman, Jesus the vine and each one of us are the branches of the vine. Jesus says the branch beareth not fruit are taketh away and cast out and is withered therefore men gather them and cast them into the fire and are burned (John 15: 1-6 ). They that are brought before the throne of glory are like the goats on the left though they were the sheep of Jesus they do not have the experience of Jesus desired, otherwise they seem to be fruitless so they are cast into the everlasting fire of hell on the day of judgement (Matthew 25:41). Therefore it is of sure that we the people of God who are brought to the presence of God must be fruitful. Jesus has chosen us in Him or kept us in the body of the church so that we must bear fruit and our fruit must remain (John 15:16). Further if we bear wild grapes when we are in the very fruitful hill of our well beloved Jesus's vineyard the church, our God will destroy us (Isaiah 5:1-6). Therefore our God's desire concerning us that we must be fruitful which means bearing good fruits or those having precious fruits.

It is because that we ought to be our God's, our God called and redeemed us since He has seen us precious in His presence (Isaiah 43:1-4), it is therefore our God expects precious fruits from us. When we learn about this more clearly, the shulamite is the shadow for the bride of Christ says, she laid up all new and old fruits for her beloved. Not only that among which are all pleasant fruits (Song of songs 7:13). So, to become those having pleasant fruits it is necessary for us the former and the latter rain to change us as precious fruits (James 5:7). Through the rain which is the word of God and the divine doctrines we are getting increase (Deuteronomy 32:2). In order to be watered by the servants of God, the labourers together with God (1 Corinthians 3:6-9) the doctrines and the exhortations we receive makes us perfect in Christ (Colossians 1:28) thereby we become pleasant precious fruits.

When we read in song of songs, all manner of pleasant fruits in order to become precious fruits in our life  we have to receive all old and new fruits. In otherwise we have to give hundred-fold fruit (Luke 8:8). Whereas in the gospel according to Matthew and Mark we read the seed which is sown in the good ground bring forth thirtyfold, sixtyfold, hundredfold (Matthew 13:8,23  Mark 4:8,20) these three kinds of yield encourage us by stirring us up humanly so that we go into the experience of hundredfold. Whereas when we think spiritually crossing the gospel according to Matthew and Mark and coming to the gospel according to Luke or when we go deeper into the scriptures there is no more thirtyfold and sixtyfold whereas we read seed sown in the good ground brought forth hundredfold (Luke 8:8). We receive divine growth according to the  experiences and the divine knowledge thereby grow up into Him in all things, which is the head, even Christ (Ephesians 4:15). So perfect yield of hundredfold we receive.

In order to come to this experience let us observe keenly our life's experience which we ought to have, that is having heard the word, keep it in the good heart and bring forth fruit with patience (Luke 8:15). As the husbandman waiteth patiently for the precious fruit even unto us it is said be patient as well establish your hearts (James 5:7-8). In short we to become those having precious fruits or having all manner of pleasant fruits to have hundredfold yield even Jesus says be ye patient by having an honest and good heart (Luke 8:15). In this occasion we must very clearly understand the importance of our heart.

When we pay attention to the initial stage of our life at salvation, our God does certain things so that He cause us  to walk in His statutes and to keep His judgements and do them. God take away the stony heart and give us an heart of flesh and put His spirit within us (Ezekiel 36:26-27). This is not the experience of the old testament saints but it is the experience of we the new testament church. Our God give us the Spirit of truth the Comforter to abide with us forever (John 14:16). The Spirit of God dwelleth in us and in our body so that we to become the temple of God, is not the experience during the period of old testament but it is the experience at present (1 Corinthians 3:16, 6:19). Spirit of truth teach us all things and bring all things to remembrance  as prophesied earlier we will walk in His statutes and keep and do His judgements (John 14:26,16:13). In truth it is God who help us to have an honest and good heart and to bring forth hundredfold fruit.

Whereas our hearts must be established without turning away (James 5:7-8) or else it will happen in our life as happened in the life of Solomon. God gave to Solomon a wise and an understanding heart and largeness of heart, even as the sand that is on the seashore  (1kings 3:12, 4:29).But in the life of Solomon his heart was allured and the perfectness of his heart with the Lord his God is lost (1kings 11:4), because of which his heart turned away from his God and kept not that which the Lord commanded (1kings 11:9-10). Even if we do not establish our hearts we too will turn away from our God thereby we will not walk in His statutes neither keep or do His judgements.

Looking at the state of the heart of man God himself says for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth (Genesis 8:21). God saw that his wickedness was great and every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually (Genesis 6:5). In order to change the state of being evil God take away the stony heart and give us the heart of flesh in the beginning of our spiritual life at repentance through baptism. Continually through the anointing He put the Holy Spirit within us. But a person who knew God, glorified Him not as God, neither were thankful but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened (Romans 1:21). Now, many in the presence of God live being unthankful. But whereas  we are all have to bless God with good mind and all that is within, without forgetting all His benefits ( Psalm 103:1-2). Not only that we are indebted to glorify God. Even in the experience of eating and drinking in our day today life should be for the glory of God  (1Corinthians 10:31).But today many for their own glory, speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory thereby they are without truth and having unrighteousness (John 7:18). In such ones lives their heart not only become dark, but also lost their understanding because of the blindness of their heart and through ignorance heart is hardened being alienated from the life of God, who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness (Ephesians 4:18-19).In short they backslide and turn to the former stony heart state.

Therefore we ourselves should search our hearts. Having evil heart cannot speak good matters so we have to know ourselves. Because Jesus says for out of the abundance of heart speaketh mouth ( Matthew 12:34-35). Through works they can know their heart. If heart is evil, their works will also be revealed as evil (Mark 7:20-23). In otherwise if our heart is honest and good we will speak of good matters and do good works. The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked so we must be diligent to know it (Jeremiah 17:9-10).Not only that when we pray by surrendering ourselves to the hands of our God, He will search our heart and know it thereby He will help us to see any wicked ways in us and lead us to the way everlasting (Psalm 139:23-24). He will humble and prove us to know what is in our heart (Deuteronomy 8:2), continually when we humble us and pray our God which knoweth the hearts sanctify us and bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost (Acts 15:8-9). Since Holy Spirit comes within us, we will have an honest and good heart which cause us to walk in His ways and to keep and do His judgements (Ezekiel 36:26-27). Having heard the word, keep it and bring forth fruit with patience yielding hundredfold (Luke 8:15). Thereby we will be changed as those with all manner of pleasant fruits and be seen as precious fruits in His presence. May our Lord God help us for that and prepare us.
