The divine power of the one who strengthens

"I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Philippians 4:13.

Truly to an individual who begin the christian life receiving baptism after repentance God give Him the gift of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:38). After that the Holy Ghost is come upon us we shall receive power and become mighty ones (Acts 1:8). God brought Israelites out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn even by the Holy Spirit He is strengthening us as well (Numbers 23:22).Therefore in our spiritual life we should not become feeble. We could see people of Israel in their wilderness journey by the way become faint and weary and the enemy smote the hindmost who were feeble behind (Deuteronomy 25:17-18). Even if we become feeble our adversary the devil will devour us (1 Peter 5:8). There was not one feeble among their tribes when they departed out of Egypt (Psalm 105:37).They become feeble in their journey and were destroyed even so we should not be destroyed like them. For that we have to wait upon the Lord and live by renewing our strength (Isaiah 40:31). For that our strength should be in God and go from strength to strength, thereby appeareth before God in Zion (Psalm 84:5,7).Therefore we can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth us.

Here in our key verse we see that "we can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth us." When God created man and put him in the garden of Eden so that he should dress it and keep the garden(Genesis 2:15). Whatever work God say to him in the garden he need to do it. But those good fruits on the tree which God created he can eat it for his food (Genesis 2:16).Therefore he need not work for his daily living but he lived by doing the works which God told him in the garden. But because of sin man was driven out of the garden and he need to eat all the days of his life in sorrow in this earth and in the sweat of his face he ought to eat bread (Genesis 3:17-19). He was driven out of the garden of Eden so that he need to till the ground and eat the herbs of the field as his food (Genesis 3:23). Man who was fallen in his life changed to labour hard for his daily living instead to do the works of God.

But man who return back to God after baptism become beloved son to God (Matthew 3:17). Therefore God deliver him from his hard labour and give him all he needed his beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2). Man cast seed into the ground he sleep, and rise night and day for the earth bringeth herself first the blade, then the ear, after the full corn in the ear (Mark 4:26-29). For the Father knoweth the need of the children of God even before they ask (Matthew 6:8).The children of God who seek the kingdom of God gives all needed for them to eat, to drink and to cloth (Matthew 6:31-33). Therefore a man who become the child of God is freed from his vain labour for his daily living (Psalm127:2).Therefore these beloved brethren of the Lord not in vain labour but let us always abounding in the work of the Lord (1Corinthians 15:58). For that our God is strengthening us in Christ.

Those who keep the works which the Lord commanded unto the end will receive power as of the Lord (Revelation 2:26).They are those who will be caught up to the throne of God (Revelation 12:5). Or they that hear the words of Jesus and accordingly do the will of the Father such wise ones will enter into the kingdom of God (Matthew 7:24). Therefore a life of a child of God is not a ordinary life giving priority for the cares of life. Our life is the life of serving the Lord therefore whatsoever we do, do it heartily, as of the Lord knowing that of the Lord we shall receive the reward of inheritance (Colossians 3:23-24). Because we are all waiting to receive the reward according to our works from our Lord who comes soon (Revelation 22:12). On that day if our works will abide only then we will receive the reward, the works that are vain will be destroyed and suffer loss (1Corinthians 3:14-15). Therefore after we are strengthened by the Lord who strengthen us (Philippians 4:13).we should always abound in the work of the Lord (1 Corinthians 15:58).

We who have strength in the Lord not receiving the strength to strength (Psalm 84:5,7) neither wait upon the Lord to renew their strength (Isaiah 40:31) but if we live as feeble ones then our life will be turned as miserable. It is said women are weaker vessel (1 Peter 3:7). But if we live by sleeping upon the knees of Delilah our weakness, like Samson we will lose our actual strength what we have, thereby the devil will capture us (Judges 16:19). Even we too will be changed like Adam as the satan made him to labour hard for his daily living. We too will be made as Samson's eyes were put out and bound him with fetters and he did grind in the prison house (Judges 16:21). Thereby losing our heavenly vision, being alienated to the kingdom of God, in the prison house of satan labouring hard for the daily living by grinding in the whole of our life. Samson labouring hard in grinding not for himself but for others. Are we suffering vainly for the cares of life for our beloved ones by losing our spiritual life? Even God giveth travail to the sinner so that they that please the Lord will enjoy the riches which is gathered and heaped up (Ecclesiastes 2:26). Jesus lived always by doing things which please God (John 8:29). Not doing such things but doing  the works of sin thereby God doesnot please in them, such ones will be travailed by satan and by God as well, such individuals life in this world will be more miserable. They that are overcharged by the cares of this life will the coming of the Lord will be a snare (Luke 21:34).

It is God that giveth power to get wealth (Deuteronomy 8:17-18). With that power the fool layeth up earthly treasures unto himself (Luke 12:21). Like the rich man eating, drinking, enjoying and fared sumptuously every day will be worthy for the hell (Luke 16:19,23). But the wise man did pleaseful works according to the words of Jesus and become rich toward God so that he enter into the kingdom of God (Matthew 7:21-25). They work well and gain doublefold according to the power of God and the grace of God which they received thereby they become good servants and enter into the joy of the Lord (Matthew 25:15-17,21-23). Whereas the slothful and the wicked servant become the unprofitable servant and cast into the outer darkness (Matthew 25:26). The negligence and the slothfulness in the spiritual life makes the children of God wicked ones. What is wickedness? They believe not that the earthly and the spiritual experiences will be given as a blessing by the powerful living God thereby they deny the living God and their evil heart of unbelief make them to labour hard for their daily living is their wickedness (Hebrews 3:12). Therefore let us not be wicked ones but lovable and doing the works that is pleasing God for that let our God strengthen us and make us mighty ones.
